Merry Christmas!

Kansas Cousins

Ho, Ho, Ho...

Eli wore this outfit for his first Christmas.
I wanted to get a picture of Kaya in it.

I was going to wait until Christmas to take a picture of Kaya in this outfit but I could barely squeeze her in it today.
She couldn't even straighten her legs.

Kaya is on the left and Eli is on the Right.

Christmas Cookies!

Today Eli and I decorated Sugar Cookies. He had a really fun time eating during the making of the cookies but he didn't have room to sample the finished product because he was too full of frosting. He loved helping me crack the eggs and stir the dough. As he stirred he kept fling flour out of the bowl. He liked licking the beaters and using the sprinkles. Daddy was no help because he kept raiding the pan as they came out of the oven (I guess he was the quality control.)

Christmas Lights!

Yesterday we went to the CALM (California living musem) zoo with a friend Paul works with and her family. We saw lots of lights that were shaped like animals and dinosaurs and various other things. Eli got to ride a train and a carousel for the first time and loved it. The kids met Santa but Eli didn't like that as much. It was really fun.

The Train. It was hard to get a good picture because
it was so far away and really dark outside.

Eli looking at the Train.

Eli going through the Train's Christmas Light tunnel.
Doesn't Eli look happy to meet Santa Claus.
Hopefully this meeting wont affect his good boy status.

Kaya and Santa.

Don't they look like they are having so much fun!
